Imam Bukhari travel incident

Allama Ajluni has narrated this strange incident about his trust that once he was traveling on the sea and he had a thousand ashrafees with him.

A fellow traveler established his trust by increasing devotional practices.  Hazrat Imam Bukhari informed him about his Ashrafees.

One day this friend of yours woke up and started crying loudly and said that my 1000 Ashrafees have been lost.  So the search of all the passengers started.  Hazrat Imam saw that I have ashrafees and they are one thousand.

In the search, I will definitely be accused of theft.  And that was his purpose.  Seeing this, the Imam referred the bag to the sea.  Imam was also searched.  But those ashrafees did not come to hand and the shipmen themselves blamed this crafty friend.
At the end of the journey, he asked Hazrat Imam about the Ashrafis and he said that I threw them into the sea.  He said how did you bear the loss of such a huge amount.  You answered the wealth of knowledge that I have lost all my life.  And my trust, which is known all over the world, would I have wasted it by taking the accusation of theft upon myself.  And it was not appropriate for me to trade my honesty, trust and confidence in exchange for these nobles.
